Hello, my name is Amora. I have been told how beautiful I am and I will deny that it's the truth ;) I have been at PRBJ for over 4 years. I know that is a really long time, more than half of my life. I am a great girl just ask anyone at the rescue center. I need time to get to know a person and trust them, but once I do I will love you forever. I never forget those that love me. I am a little older now and really would just like a home that I can relax with you. I am good on the leash but really don't like going too far but maybe if I had a great person to walk me and keep me safe I would enjoy walking.
I DO NOT like other animals (cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, etc) so my ideal home would need to pet free although I think I wouldn't mind a fish.
I DO NOT like new people so I would need a home that only has 1-2 ADULTS ONLY with very limited traffic in order to keep me and them safe.
Please don't let any of this discourage you from wanting to adopt me. I know the right person is out there and staff at the center is willing to work with us to ensure I get to the right home. again it will take time for you to come in and meet me a few times but I can guarantee I am worth it

More about this rescue
We are a private, non-profit rescue located in Sanford, Florida, dedicated to the rescue cats and dogs. Many of them come to us with medical needs. They are doctored to the best of our ability and resources.
Our most urgent goal is to rescue animals that are abandoned or in distress, update their vaccines, and find good new homes for them. But we attempt to be more proactive than that. It is our heartfelt desire to prevent any animal from the need to be "rescued." With that vision in mind, we take a three-prong approach through the education of pet owners and the general public about:
- proper care of animals, including correct diet of good quality food, fresh clean water, daily exercise, and lots of love
- spaying and neutering companion animals (dogs and cats) in order to prevent euthanasia and over-population
- low-cost spay/neuter clinics and wellness centers in their local community
