My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I came into the county shelter with another dog. My family must have quarreled because one family member turned us in and another member was supposed to come get us and didn't so we were in this scary place, considered owner surrendered, the shelter was full and we were in jeopardy of being put down. As a senior we are often overlooked. Well fast forward we were rescued. I'm doing much better after an emergency spay and a groom. Next week (the week of June 10th) I'll start heart worm treatment. I'll be getting 3 injections and in a couple of months or so I'll be cured. Heart worm treatment is so hard on the body and it's totally unnecessary if I was given a little pill every month. Oh well this is the hand I was dealt and I'll get well and the perfect home will be waiting for me. I'm so tiny at 8.5 lbs you won't even know I'm around.
