Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I'm ARAMIS! I'm about 5 years old 30lb Terrier mix who's looking for a quiet home with a family to love.
I'm a quiet sort of guy who is looking for a house in the suburbs with a fenced in yard to sunbathe in. No condos please, I need space. Sorry, I can't live in the city because it's just too busy and scary for me. I need the quiet suburbs where there's more space for me to feel comfortable in.
I was used to living with other dogs, and my home must have another one. I prefer to play with other dogs my size or smaller. I'm good with cats too, I generally just ignore them. I'm rather shy so my home must not have children who may overwhelm me. A patient family who is willing to take the time to help me adjust and become comfortable is best and believe me, once you win my love you will never lose it!
Here's what my foster mom says about me:
"Aramis has been with me for 2.5 months and I have discovered that he is a very sensitive soul. He is independent and likes to take the time to think about how he will respond to you (or get back to you later!) about what he really wants to do. I think he might be part cat haha. He can be a bit grumbly when you ask him to do something he's not sure he wants to do, or if you catch him doing something he's not supposed to, but when he is forgiven (and he stops sulking like a cat), he loves his cuddles and tummy rubs. He really is a thinker and a sensitive boy who gets on well with other dogs (and cats) as long as he's given time and space to figure things out."
I'd prefer my house to have no young kids, a retired couple would be a great fit for me!
As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! Or better yet, an application for me can be found at www.justpawsanimalrescue.com.
