Meet Madeleine Stowe! Why such a big name for a little puppy? Because this little cutie was a stowaway in a piece of steel that traveled all the way from Texas to Lockwood, Missouri recently! Miss Maddy has been to the vet where we were told she is only about 10-12 weeks old. What a journey for such a young baby! We believe Maddy to be a lab / hound mix & she currently weighs under 20 lbs, but we believe to will end up being medium to large when she is fully grown. She is very timid & still a little fearful after her journey but starting to warm up now she knows she is safe & with good people. She has been very friendly with her foster sibling. Maddy will need a quiet home as loud noises & sudden movements spook her. She will also need a family that will show her lots of love & patience while she comes out of her shell & transitions. Maddy has been de-wormed & had her initial puppy vaccination. Her puppy vaccination series will be completed along with spay, rabies shot, & microchip with lifetime registration. Maddy’s adoption fee will be $150 to cover cost of vetting. Vet reference, home check and adoption contract required. Filling out an application is the first step in our process.
