My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a mildly active senior dog. He likes to take walks and loves playing in water. Buddy will fetch for hours and his favorite toys are those that 'squeak' - he has a favorite and will search for it until found. He is pretty calm but is a large dog and can pull hard on the leash. Basic obedience classes can teach him to heel and to wait and would be a great bonding experience between him and his new family. Buddy is clean in his kennel and was a house dog at one time, unfortunately things changed with his former family and he has been left outdoors for at least a year. He is a smart, clean dog so house breaking should be easy. He has had some crate training and will go right in for a treat, or car ride. Buddy does good with other calm dogs and plays well, unless the other dog takes his toy! He seems to ignore the cats but he is a large dog and could accidentally hurt a small animal so caution should be used until you know he is cat friendly. Buddy is 7 years old, vaccinated and neutered.
