My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

One meeting with Nico and you will be charmed! Sweet is an understatement when describing this affectionate little fellow. Nico is 11 years young, friendly, happy and playful, and has shown us that he will readily adapt to a loving new home.

Nico first came to our care earlier this year after his original owner had to move to a seniors’ residence. He then became a permanent Kiko foster, but now needs a new forever home due to unforeseen circumstances.

Nico will make an ideal companion for a varied range of adopters: single or couple, adult or senior. He gets along well with cats and other dogs, and is gentle with respectful children. Nico is neutered and had his teeth done last year. A heart murmur was also detected that requires daily medication and a check-up at the vet once or twice a year. Nico is trained to use pee pads inside and will also do his business outside. Overall, he is a very friendly little dog with many good years of love to give. Nico will make a very faithful companion for the right adopter.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for heartworm (if deemed necessary), microchipped, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 and an adoption contract.
