My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We’re pleased to introduce Ace, a very handsome 60-pound Boxer. This much loved 2.5-year-old was reluctantly surrendered to Kiko’s care due to changes at home.

Ace is pretty much a typical energetic Boxer. Affectionate and smart, he has been trained with voice commands and also knows some hand signals. Although Ace was always an only pet, he was well socialized with other dogs. Likewise with children, he never lived with them but is quite comfortable around respectful children. Ace is clean and non-destructive when left alone at home, and travels well in the car. A couple of bouts of pancreatitis has left Ace with a sensitive stomach, which is easily and well managed with a raw diet readily available wherever quality pet food is sold—and no more expensive than feeding holistic dry food.

Ace will make an excellent family pet for even the novice dog owner. If you have never had a Boxer before, please research the breed before applying. Boxers are not couch potatoes and Ace is no exception. Please be prepared to be able to provide ample time, attention and exercise, and be committed to continue his raw food diet. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you are interested in offering Ace a forever home. We anticipate receiving a lot of applications for Ace, so please be patient as we take the time we need to review them all.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for heartworm (if deemed necessary), microchipped, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 and an adoption contract.
