My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Dusty. I am coal black with silver/white dusting. I am approximately 5 years old and weigh 5-6 pounds. I’m sorry for the pictures, but whoever got a hold of the shears, didn’t give me a very good haircut. I was rescued from a backyard breeder in Louisiana. I love humans, but it takes me a day or two to warm up to you since I was never really around people that much. I am learning the housebreaking thing and doing a pretty good job. I am crate trained but love to be out chasing my buddies. I love to be in your lap, cradled in your arm, sleeping on you. In other words, I love to be around my human. My favorite position is in the crook of your arm. I do best if I am around another playful dog close to my size. I’m learning all about yummy treats and what toys are, but I really like to play with my roommates. My foster mommy thinks that I would make a good therapy dog because I am calm and love to lay in laps and get hugs and kisses. What do you think, do you have a place in your home and heart for me??????? I sure hope so. Love, Dusty.
