Teezy is a special 8 year old Chihuahua who's quite petite at 7-8 pounds. Her owner died and she had no place to go so we agreed to take her; how could we not? She's just adorable! Needless to say, she was emotionally fragile when we got her but she's blossomed in her foster home. Teezy has discovered the joy of romping with her doggy siblings and can frequently be found wrestling or playing tug of war with them. She is still a bit nervous when meeting new people, in classic Chihuahua fashion, so needs gentle & patient handling for a few minutes in order to gain trust. But once she has accepted you, Teezy is quite the snuggle bug. She relishes sleeping under the covers, toasty warm & pressed against her person. She also takes great joy in going on outings; having a car seat so she can look out the window is heaven to her! Teezy likes to go on walks & explore; she's very smart so likes the extra stimulation. She's also doing pretty well on potty training and does know to use a potty pad during the night; just a little more consistent coaching in this area and she'll be perfect. Teezy's ideal home will have a fenced in yard & a small dog with whom she can continue to play; it's a new found pastime and we'd really like her to continue to have this joy in her life. If you'd like to adopt this sweetheart, please let us know. Teezy's adoption fee is $175; she's spayed, microchipped, as well as current on vaccinations & heartworm preventative. She has also had a much needed dental cleaning. She's all ready to go to her new home where she can continue to blossom with TLC and fun times!
