My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Copper is an approximately 5-6 year old hound dog. He is a very timid and gentle dog that was found as a stray in Virginia. Due to an overcrowded kennel he was going to be euthenized when the wonderful coordinator at the Portsmouth Humane Society rescued him and brought him to us. Copper was likely a hunting dog that became lost. He likes both people and dogs very much and loves to sniff things!

Copper loves to "hug" by leaning into you and resting his head on you for comfort. He has an old soul and a very kind spirit. This dog will steal your heart if you let him!
