My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This striking boy is Siku, a 15 month Akita/Lab mix, and he heils from the great state of Alaska! Within the first few months of his life he made a long trip to the continental United States and quickly found himself "for sale" in Pennsylvania. He was a very cute and cuddly little pup and thus quickly adopted by a young teenager. She did not have the time or living situation to continue to care for him though, so he came to stay with us at The Canine Rescue of Central PA while he patiently waits for his FOREVER family (this time for real!)

Siku is bright, young, intelligent, energetic and a fast learner! He has not been taught many manners though so he needs a strong leader who is willing to put in the time and effort to teach him "good" doggy habits. Siku would do best as the only pet in the family and should not go to a house with small children given his size and energy level.
