CROSS YOUR PAWS.... WAYLON IS ON A TRIAL ADOPTION!

Waylon is a big, handsome rambunctious boy at about 78 pounds. He is 1 1/2 years old, born June 2017.
Waylon loves to run and play ball in the yard, play chase and tug and swim, even in cold weather. His favorite game is to break the ice in his dog pool on cold days and run around the yard with big chunks of ice! Apparently he thinks his name is Jesus... he tried to walk on water the first time he saw a swimming pool ;-)
Waylon has been bounced around in his short life, but his next family is the last one he will have! Waylon needs a family that has experience managing and training large dogs to help him become a happy, well behaved dog.
Waylon is healthy, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All he needs now is an active family to love him and work on training. Waylon would love a home with older kids, at least 10 to 12 years old. He actually seems to be a bit calmer without other dogs in the house, but he gets along great with other dogs. A nice sized back yard with room to play is definitely needed to give him the exercise that he needs. Waylon would be really happy with frequent trips to the dog park to romp with other big dogs.
Waylon has probably been crated far too much in his life. As a result, he is not always happy in his crate. We are working on making the crate a less stressful place for him. We want to find a home where Mom or Dad is home for much of the day, so that Waylon doesn't have to be crated for long periods.
Waylon is healthy, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All he needs now is an active family to love and the time & patience to work on training.
