My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dizzy is a 2 yr old female Mastiff X. Although imposing looking, she is very affectionate and loves being babied and cuddled by her people! She’s great with other dogs too - going to the dog park to play is one of her favourite activities! Kids are favourites of hers too - but she doesn’t know her own strength and can knock over the little ones when she gets really excited!

Dizzy was adopted from the SPCA when she was 12 weeks old and has lived with her family, which includes Seliya, since then. These two pups have been together for most of their lives and are hoping there is a family with huge hearts who will welcome them into their home because they must leave the one they are in now. Their human, who has lovingly cared for them for years, has health issues, has also lost her rental accommodation and is unable to find another home for all of them - so must say good-bye.
Regular exercise is important to Dizzy but she isn’t a fitness fanatic! She not a runner or hiker but she’s happy to go for a couple of short walks everyday in addition to occasional trips to the dog park to socialize with other dogs. Not too long ago she sprained her leg which has slowed her down a little but she’s still up for some outside adventures. She is perfect for big dog lovers who are looking for a friendly but protective walking partner.
Mastiffs are gentle and affectionate dogs to their own people. They are very loyal and are natural guardians of the ones they love. Their loving and laid back attitude will change though if they perceive any threat of danger to their human pack.
Dizzy is an entertaining girl - she likes to “talk”; she likes to watch TV and she likes to bark at animals she sees on the screen! She also enjoys crawling through objects and playing dead! She even loves to play “dress up” if there are any costumes around!
Dizzy and Seliya should stay together but they desperately need a new home - together or alone. They are both good natured pups who are loving companions and who would be wonderful additions to a family who love these big breeds.
Dizzy’s health is good and her vaccinations are up to date. She is spayed and micro-chipped.
