My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackie is a 5 year old chihuahua and weighs about 12lbs. She is crate trained and housebroken as well as potty pad trained. She gets a long with dogs of all sizes, she is not a fan of cats. She does take a little while to warm up, but once she does she is just as sweet and loving as can be. Jackie would do best in a home with older children, as small children do make her nervous. She will follow you around and she loves to be near her human. Jackie just wants a family of her own.

$250 Adoption fee required. This covers altering, 6 in 1 series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, Parasite testing, frontline, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. All SOAR dogs go through a ten day quarantine period to insure they are healthy, before being put up for adoption. Though if the dog is an owner turn in and has been to a vet within the last ten days they go immediately up for adoption, with a further exam at the time of altering. If for any reason the dog does not work out in your family we will take the dog back into our care at any time during the lifetime of the dog. (We require that the said do be returned to us, as per contract. Please read further details on our main page on the last section of our adoption procedure.)
