My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonni is a very pretty silver brindle girl who is one of the smallest greyhounds you will find. She has loads of personality and is very people-oriented. She likes to constantly be with you and is very affectionate. She loves to ride in cars, go for walks, and of course, be the center of attention. Bonnie is also a "Prison Dog" and has received extra training. Her racing name was "A Bar Bonni". She was born on August 14, 2003. If you like to travel and want a dog that will be comfortable going with you, Bonni is your girl. She is also already home acclimated, loves toys, and is quite playful. Bonni had been in a home as a pet for several months when her owner apparently abandoned her. She was found wandering in the parking lot at a dog park in South Tampa without her collar and tags. Luckily, the people who found her recognized her and got her to us. One thing to be aware of about Bonni is that she has a lot of chase instinct and will chase any small creature that moves, including squirrels, rabbits, hampsters, small dogs and cats. She is fine with medium size or larger dogs. Before her previous adoption, Bonni was trained in the Second Chance at Life Greyhound Prison Program. She learned all her commands and knows heel, sit, stay, down, come on recall, can go up and down stairs with ease, and has good house manners. If you are looking for a smaller greyhound that is well trained and will be your friend forever, Bonni may be perfect for you. She is our featured dog this month, and her adoption fee is just $100. She comes already spayed, with teeth cleaned, all vaccines, 3-yr rabies, microchip, leash and collar, grooming mit, stuffie toy, adoption guide, and oral gel for her teeth. Please call us at 813/272-2332 for more information about this super little greyhound girl.
