Mia is a very smart and sweet Catahoula/Australian Shepard mix. She is around 1 year old and is a petite dog about 45lbs with beautiful blue green eyes!
She is athletic and loves to play with toys yet can settle down and snuggle on the couch with you. She is a great family dog and is good with kids.
She loves playing with our red heeler and is good with other dogs but can be Alpha (currently fostered with 4 other dogs) She is currently working on
leash manners and can sit and stay.
If you are interested in adopting Mia please email catahoularescuene@gmail.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed,
you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will
contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue.
Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they
were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Mia's adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip,
and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
