Hi, my name is Blondie. I am a 15-pound, 2-year-old tan female chihuahua mix. I am looking for my new forever home. I lived with a family who loved me, but they had to move and could not take me with them. I was very well cared for and I am used to living in a house and have the house manners to prove it. I am house trained, obedient, house and dog door trained. I rest on dog beds in my foster home and I will sleep in a kennel (with the door open) . I am a dainty eater as well. Plus I can be left alone and will wait patiently for your return. When you first see me, you might think I am snarling, but I’m not. I have an overbite that makes me look kind of grouchy (or adorable), but I am a very sweet girl.
It is so scary not having a home. These nice rescue folks took me in. My foster mom gives me lots of love because she knows I am so confused right now. It took me a day or so to feel safe with my foster mom. I am a bit timid at first but very loving once I warm up to people. I live with 2 other small dogs right now both males. I get along great with them. I love to run and play with the other dogs in my foster home.
When considering adoption please remember this is a life-long commitment to Blondie who could live to be 13-15 years old! Blondie has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We do home visits, so local Phoenix area adoptions only. Please apply online at http://www.helpadogsmile.org/adopt/application/ to get more info from her foster mom or schedule a time to meet Blondie. Blondie's adoption fee of $175 helps with medical expenses of the rescue. Thank you, hope to see you soon!
