Meet Marty! He is a 1 year old Long Haired Dachshund/Spaniel mix and weighs about 20lbs. Marty is a fun loving, smart boy who is eager to please! He has excelled with professional obedience training - he will need an adopter who is committed to maintaining what he has achieved, so that he can continue to be the best canine good citizen around (Dachshunds are known to be stubborn and Marty is no exception - give him an inch, and he will take a mile!). He will do best in a calm, adult home (no children please). Marty would be happy as an only dog or would do well with a female dog (pending appropriate introductions).
