Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hoppy is part Formosan Mountain Dog and possibly Basenji. She was rescued from Taiwan where dogs often have no chance at life. Hoppy is now ready for her forever home! She can be a bit on the shy side but when comfortable with someone is quite affectionate and fun. She is learning to go on long walks with her foster Mom - and loves playing with her toys. She is crate-trained. Hoppy was born approximately September 2008.
We work in cooperation with a rescue group in Taiwan to bring animals to the States where they are sure to have a bright, happy and safe future. Hoppy will most likely grow to be about 25-35+/- lbs. On average, our rescued dogs from Taiwan tend to be on the smaller side of similar breeds here in the US. However, as with any mixed breed dog, we cannot know for sure how large a puppy will grow to as an adult. Therefore, will not adopt out dogs who are not fully grown to families who require weight limits.
Hoppy has not yet been introduced to cats so she would need supervision if going into a home with cats.
ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS
All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family. To set up a time to meet one of our animal companions, we must first have a completed application on file.

Please note that we do not adopt animal companions out to homes that show signs of indoor smoking. Adoption fee $125. Hoppy is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered
