My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy is a petite heeler x shepherd mix who is estimated to be just over a year old. She was picked up as a stray by a small rural shelter in southern Utah so we don't know anything about her history. What we do know is that this little cutie is as sweet as she is adorable! Brandy is shy when she first meets new people, but warms up quickly, especially if there are treats involved (she is very food motivated!). Brandy's favorite things are to cuddle with her humans, play fetch, chew on toys and run, run, run! Brandy would love an active family who will give her plenty of exercise and take her on fun adventures. She would also love a home with another dog. In fact, we are requiring that Brandy's new home have at least one other canine sibling to help show her the ropes. Because of her herding tendencies we are recommending a home without children under the age of 10 yr. Brandy is crate-trained, house-broken and is learning to walk on a leash.
