Hi everyone, I’m THUMBELINA! I'm a puppy girl who is just about 6 months old. I was named Thumbelina because I was so teeny tiny when I was born. I was the smallest of my siblings, but I've since grown lots and the vet says I'm a healthy happy girl. My rescuers believe I may grow up to be just under 30lbs, but it's just a guess as my mom is only 22lbs, but no one knows who my dad is.
My foster family thinks I'm a Whippet mix based on my looks. I came from Jamaica, where they just call us dogs Jampups. Me, my mom and siblings were abandoned at a shelter when I was just a tiny wee thing, which was lucky for us since that meant we would be well taken care off instead of starving in the streets.
Like most Jampups, I have a happy go lucky disposition. I was a little shy at first when I got to my foster home, but I am much more confident now. However, I do get a little scared when there are loud noises. I haven't been spayed yet as I'm still too young, but Just Paws will take care of that when I'm old enough.
I get along great with my older foster siblings both human and dog. My hobbies are cuddling and snuggling with my foster family. I feel the most secure when I am with someone so I would love a family who won't leave me for long periods of time. I like my foster fur siblings but humans are my favourite. My foster mommy is very proud of me because I go outside to do my "business" and I come right back in when she calls me. My favourite hangout is the couch and I love playing and napping there.
Trust me, you will never regret adding me to your family because I know that I'm going to grow up to be the best Good Girl in the world!
