My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ahza is a big, strong boy who needs an active, but loving, home. He was saved from euthanasia in a Texas animal control facility and has been brought back to good health, fully vaccinated, treated for heartworms, and will be neutered before adoption. All medical records will be provided upon adoption. Ahza is young at about a year-and-a-half and weighs in at 71 pounds. Of course, no one knows his heritage; but, Ridgeback/Lab looks fairly close to us. He is house trained, crate trained, and does well on-leash. Ahza does have strong prey-drive, though; so, you have to stay on your toes while walking him. He does well with other dogs, but not with cats, squirrels, or any other small, fast animals. Ahza is searching for a loving home with an active family and a securely fenced yard to enjoy when he's not indoors with the rest of the family. He's a beautiful boy and will be a cherished family member when he gets a home.
