Hi, my name is Libbie. We think I could be a terrier/beagle mix but you can just look at me to know I am a gorgeous little girl. I came from Winslow, Arizona. I was found as a stray and the shelter in Winslow was too full for me and I had no where to go. My guardian angel smiled on me that day because these nice rescue folks in Phoenix took me in.
I am 9-10 months old and weigh 23 pounds. The first thing people notice about me are my golden eyes and my brindle coat. I have a very sweet personality too. I like all the dogs I have met so far. I don't know about cats cause I don't think I have met one.
I go to play group everyday to make sure I am socialized. At first, I was a bit in awe of all those dogs but after a few minutes I got the hang of it and now I love playing. I came into rescue with Speckles, who is a 75-pound heeler mix. I follow her all around the yard and love being around her she makes me feel secure.
I love to play and I am learning to fetch. I generally do whatever Speckles does. So if Speckles runs after the ball so do I. I also like my people. Need a pal to watch TV with? Sign me up. I don't live with any kids now, but I bet I would like them too because I like everyone.
I think folks will like me too. I sleep in a kennel at night, I am house-trained, and I am learning to walk nicely on a leash. I am not very vocal either. During the day I sometimes stay in the kennel but not for too long, because I am young, active and I need to play.
I am looking for a forever home. Do you have room for me? I promise to love you for my whole life. But I am not disposable. I am looking for someone to cherish me forever too.
Libbie has been micro-chipped, spayed and vaccinated. Her adoption fee of $175.00 will help with medical needs of the Rescue group. If you are interested in Libbie, and live in the Phoenix metro area, please fill out an application at: http://www.helpadogsmile.org/adopt/application/
