My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Willie and I am a Chihuahua mix. I am a cute little guy with white fur all over except for a round black/brown spot on my back. A very nice man found me wandering the Phoenix streets. I was a bit nervous of him at first but then he had CHEESE. I love cheese. He took me in to make sure I was safe and then searched for my family. When no family could be found these nice rescue folks took me in and now I live with a foster family and two other dogs.

The first thing folks notice about me are my light brown eyes, red nose. I am 2-years old and weigh 9 pounds. I play nicely with other dogs. So far I am a submissive one in our group of three dogs. I don't live with any kids now, but I bet I would like them too cause I like everyone. My favorite place is a lap, I love to snuggle. Need a pal to watch TV with? I am there for you.

I think folks will like me too. I am very loving, sleep in a kennel at night and I learned the dog door in one day. I am a small dog so unless you have a covered area with a dog door like my foster mom, I always need to be supervised when outside.

My foster mom says I am wicked smart and learn quickly. I am not very vocal either at least not yet. During the day I sometimes stay in the kennel when my foster mom is gone. But she doesn't leave me in there too long cause she knows I am young, active and I need to play.

I am looking for a forever home. Do you have room for me? I promise to love you for my whole life. But I am not disposable. I am looking for someone to cherish me forever too.
