Hi everybody my name is Benny. I was found wondering in a Phoenix park. This nice man took me home and tried to find my owners. I am lucky he took me home with him. I am a very small dog; hawks, eagles and owls are just few of the prey that could carry me off. I am not sure how long I could survive out on the streets. When we could not find my owners, my finder called his friends at the rescue and now I am in a foster home waiting for my forever home.
I am a 2 1/2-years-old, 6-pound, male tan and white chihuahua. I almost fit into the palm of my finder’s hand. Yep small and cute that’s me. I am house-trained, get along with other small dogs, and adore people. Unlike some dogs I am not afraid of men and will jump right up in my foster dads lap and take a nap. I will sleep in a dog bed at night; although I prefer to sleep in bed next to you. I am scared of bigger dogs. I like children but I need older considerate children to play with.
My ideal forever home is one where you love me and take care of me for my whole life. I am not very old so I can be your best buddy for a long time - 12-14 years or more. Because I am on the small side I always need to be supervised outside. I can’t wait to go on adventures, chill on the couch on TV night and play in the yard or go for walks.
I have been micro-chipped, neutered and up to date on my shots. My adoption fee of $250 will help with medical needs of the rescue group. If you are interested in meeting, please fill out an application at: https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adopt/application/
