My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Harley! This petite girl is muscular, athletic and an all around sweet heart. She is about 6 years old, 47 pounds, and has a medium energy. She is great with other dogs, big and small, and lived with another female dog for a few years. NO CATS please. She loves people, and is good with kids, but takes a little bit of extra time to warm up to men. Once she does, she`s the sweetest, happiest companion. She is house trained and has good house manners. She loves toys and is a fetch champion. She’ll chase the ball and even bring it right back to you and drop it for more. Come meet this fabulous little girl at our shelter.

Note: She has a little bit of an issue with spay incontinence (she will leak pee a little bit), but it is very well controlled on an inexpensive twice weekly medication and should otherwise not be an issue as long as it is continued. Come meet this compact sweetie at our shelter!

More about this rescue

Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, etc.). We are here to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while we look for forever homes for our shelter dogs. We are one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues with an actual kennel-facility in California. We house over 45 adult dogs at our facility (with many more puppies and adults in foster homes). Our pet adoption program and support is tailored to help find you the best match for your family and start it off right! We are a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.
