Meet Uzi! This adorable fun girl is looking for her forever home. She is about 6 years old, 55-60 pounds, and has a medium energy. Uzi was adopted into a home as a puppy but has been back in our care for over 3 years. There are a million ways we could describe Uzi. Is she the pittiest looking pittie? Maybe not. But she is silly, sweet, hilarious, loving, playful and so many other things. She loves people, toys, the water, her dog bed, walks, car rides, adventures, more toys, muddy water, pup cups, McDonald’s and the list goes on. She is pure fun and can entertain herself and us for hours with a toy or running through our pond in the summer time. She is good with other respectful male dogs, with proper introductions. No cats please. She can be a little nervous or quirky in some new situations (door ways and slick floors can be very scary) but with patience and guidance (and some cookies) she does well at overcoming her hesitancies. She can play a little rough at times so slightly older kids are recommended. She does know some basic manners like sit, shake, and down and she’s happy to offer them up for a treat. Uzi is a fantastic girl who would make a great adventure buddy and has good house manners to be your cuddly couch dog as well. Please give this girl a chance and come meet her at our shelter!

If you have any other animals, we assist with introductions to make sure that they all get along. If all these things go good, that’s it!

Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, etc.). We are here to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while we look for forever homes for our shelter dogs. We are one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues with an actual kennel-facility in California. We house over 45 adult dogs at our facility (with many more puppies and adults in foster homes). Our pet adoption program and support is tailored to help find you the best match for your family and start it off right! We are a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.
