My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little terrier mix is approx 9 yrs and 14 lbs. She was rescued from a house with 5 dogs where the owner had died and the people looking after the dogs just abandoned them to look after themselves. She was covered in fleas and had a flea allergy dermatitis that had made her skin very flaky and had given her a lot of hair loss. After some good flea meds and medicated baths her coat is starting to grow back and she is going to be a pretty girl. She does have a low grade heart murmur and a slightly enlarged left side of her heart. The vet feels she is in good shape and does not need any meds. She is a happy little girl, she loves her doggie bed or sleeping in an open crate on a bed. She does have food aggression with other dogs and will growl at anyone of them that tries to get near her when eating, so she either has to be an only dog or be fed and given treats on her own. She loves exploring the yard, chasing bugs and going on walks, she is quiet and well behaved and would love a quiet loving home

The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
