Leroy is a 9 year old labs that came in with his sister as a bonded pair.
Their owner was hospitalized and could not longer care for them so now they are in the care of some of our wonderful foster parents. They were so scared at first but now are slowly coming out of their shell. They were clearly overfed and not exposed to much as new people at first they are stand-offish too but warm up quickly when offered a treat! We have them on a green bean diet with weight control food and a daily exercise program and they are doing so very well. They are over 80 lbs each and should be around 65 lbs we think. They have both been given full vet care and ready to roll. ********UPDATE 9/15: As time has progressed Leroy and Ginger are now longer exhibiting signs of being totally bonded. They are fine being with other dogs and on their own. Leroy has lost significant weight and is now in the low 70 lbs. We are thrilled with his progress. He is now loving playing with balls and going for walks. We will not adopt Leroy to a home with small children due to his size and timid nature. Adoption fee 100.00
