I’m Roulie, and I’m looking for my forever home! I love mornings, tug-of-war, and the dog park! My foster cat sister isn’t the nicest, so I’m not great with cats. I love having siblings, but I’m not very nice during feedings, so I MUST be fed/given treats separately, or go to a home without other dogs.
When I wake up, I’m ready to start the day. A morning walk would be great, but a game of tug-of-war will work just fine. The dog park is the BEST and I make friends quickly! When I’m feeling goofy, I try to learn how to flip, but I'm not very good. My foster family doesn’t run, but I think I would really enjoy that. I will protect you from squirrels, cats, and bugs (yes, spiders, too). If there’s a frog, you’re on your own, though. So, if you’re looking for a best friend to make you smile every day, reach out and ask for me, Roulie.
If you are interested in adopting Roulie, please email sln2310@yahoo.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Roulie’s adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
