George is so good with other dogs that we use him to test each new dog that comes in to our shelter. He enjoys long walks, but also likes to relax with a human companion. He is responsive to verbal cues such as sit, down and stay. George is possessive of his food bowl and will therefore need a home with children over the age of 15, if any. He needs a confident owner who has time to come out to the shelter to establish a bond with him before adoption.
