Say hello to sweet Poppy. We don't know Poppy's exact breed but we suspect, based on her hair and profile, that she is a Maltese mix. She has long legs, so she could be a Maltese & super model hybrid 😉. Our vet estimates she is about 4 years old and she weighs about 20 lbs. Her size makes her perfect for a house with a yard or apartment life. Poppy has curly, fine hair and will need ongoing grooming. Poppy is on the more timid side, at least until she gets comfortable. After she settles in, she has no problem letting you know when she wants attention or to cuddle. Poppy gets along with other dogs but would also do well as an only dog. Poppy is a settled adult dog, perfect for someone looking for a low-maintainance buddy that doesn't need a lot of training. Her ideal home would be a quiet one where she can cuddle up on the couch with her people in the evenings and let them scratch her belly; it is one of the softest things her foster Mom has ever touched. Poppy is potty trained and crate trained, although she'd prefer to sleep in bed with you. She is good with kids and mostly ignores the cats at her foster home.
