Please meet BIG BEN - A Feline Character with a BIG HEART- in DESPERATE NEED FOR A FOSTER HOME at least!
BIG BEN was just spotted in an East Harlem Community garden where we think he was dumped there or found his way to the feeding station because he was running towards his rescuer right into the carrier - desperately meowing to make sure he is recognized as a friendly kitty that truly does not belong on the street.
Unfortunately, all our foster homes are currently filled beyond so we made him comfortable in a crate in our holding space with multiple visits per day.
Since settled in there, BIG BEN leaves no doubt that he is a super friendly character, that loves pets and is rolling around out of happiness being finally inside and getting attention! He almost smiles when he sees his caretaker approaching and can't get out of the crate fast enough to give head butts rubbing against her, to receive scratches on his big cheeks - his big eyes and paws always begging for more. He always likes to display that he is very social by following her around and telling her about his boring day in a cute chatty way and will always encourage her to pay attention to him - rolling on his back to receive belly rubs while head butting, purring and so much more. He gets even cuter when he is batting his toys around and give them bunny kicks - looking like a 3 month old playful kitten ...just a bit bigger...:-)
But don't get fooled - as cute as BIG BEN is when he gets his will, food and toys (his caretaker actually calls him BIG BENNY), this young gentleman would like to be in charge with everything what's going on in his life and surely will continue with this little macho attitude in his future home.
Everything is big in BIG BEN's world - his heart, his affection and his begging paws - all are prerequisites for a purrfect feline buddy with BIG personality for sure. Although his personal assistant skills will do great in a furever home as your one and only kitty if you can spend a decent amount of time with him, a gentle furry partner in crime with a laid back personality could lead this purry boy to ultimate happiness!
BIG BEN is healthy, around 2 years old, fully vetted and tested negative for FIV/FELV!
