My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Radar is a 9 year old cocker/cavalier boy who was found drowning in a canal in southwest Miami Dade county. Thank goodness for a good samaritan that fished him out and saved his life!!! It is evident that Radar has suffered abuse throughout his life - he is deathly afraid of being grabbed by his neck or a leash being put on him so he must go to an adopter that is patient, has dog experience , and has a fenced in yard where Radar can go outside and romp around safely without issue- he does walk well on a leash once put on him but it is that initial move that he is scared of. Radar is very apprehensive of new people but will warm up to you once he knows you will not hurt him and he can trust you---he just needs time and patience and lots of love. This boy is also deaf so he will go to a home with NO KIDS that can come upon him and scare him. Once Radar knows he is safe he will follow you around and looks for attention and petting. If interested in adopting Radar please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $265.00
