My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey Hey Hey...it's me Lewis but you can just call me Lou. I am a 2 year old 28 lb tri-color cocker boy looking for my perfect and forever home...hard to believe it but very true!!! I was found roaming the lonely streets of a southwest Florida county and found my way into a not so great shelter with limited space----thankfully they reached out to the girls at FCCR and heeeeeere I am ...yayyyyy I am soooooooo happy because I know they will find me just the right home. Although I am 2 years old I still have alot of puppy energy and inquisitiveness ---the world is soooooo interesting to me I just don't want to miss amything! Foster mommy says I am a really good boy and I just want to play and be loved on...those are my favorite 2 modes. Ideally I'd love to be placed in a home with another 4 legged kid I can play around with BUT I'm also fine with being the center of YOUR world so I guess you can call me Easy-2-Please Lou. I'm working on my house manners and I have come a long way...foster mommy credits that to me being a really smart boy :-). More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
