My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiiiii it's me Mikey!!! I am a 6 year old 6 lb morkie ( Maltese/Yorkie= MORKIE) boy looking for a place to call my happiy ever after home! My former owners had small kids and the grown ups worked long hours so they thought it better I'd be rehome to a fmaily that had tine for me and could give me all the love and attention they just couldn't...please no judgement here---they did the right thing and it' all good with me. Foster mommy is spoiling me rotten and I am a happyyyyyyyyy boy!!!! I love everyone, I love life, and I love other dogs...but what I love most of all is playing...play-boy is my middle name LOL---so if you're looking for a tiny pup with a huge and playful personality then ask for me by name...MIKEY! More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
