Hi, my name is Donner, a playful terrier mix pup who somehow ended up in Northern Arizona all alone! Boy, I was scared and cold but sooooo happy when a nice lady offered me some food and a warm bed inside her house. Thankfully she was able to get help from this great rescue in the Phoenix area... They made sure I got my vaccinations and deworming right away and have me scheduled for that little snip/snip neuter surgery very soon. I will also get a microchip that will be registered to my owner in my forever home as soon as I get adopted. I am currently about 3 months old and weigh about 10 lbs. As no one knows my mommy or daddy, my 'pedigree' is unknown but I should remain a small doggy. I would love my own yard to run in and can't wait to be part of my own family!
More info about Donner: cuteness overload, cuddles abound....yes, but also all puppy... that means he will need a patient owner to continue teaching him good indoor manners, what toys are appropriate to chew on (no flip flops or internet cords), how to walk nicely on a leash (doing great so far). A course in basic puppy training would be a great way to bond with your new pup. Donner is a gentle, sweet dog looking for a kind and loving indoor home, never to be alone on the streets again. He does like to explore, so a secure backyard is a must have! He will also require constant supervision outside as hawks, owls and coyotes are not his friends. Please consider that puppies can be challenging and are a lifetime commitment.

As we do home visits and remain in close contact throughout the adoption process, Donner will only be placed in the Phoenix metro area.
