Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie spent his first three years in a big farm house with his owner. Then his owner moved to an apartment, and unfortunately, cats were not allowed. Poor Charlie!
Charlie is accustomed to being the only cat in the house. He annoyed the animals in his foster home by constantly hissing at them. Charlie is a gentle guy, so maybe he was just scared of them.
Anyway, we think Charlie and the family cat had a fight. Charlie developed an abscess on his back - probably from being bit. He's all better now.
When a volunteer lets him out of his cage for exercise, he is very curious and likes to snoop around and perhaps sleep in a basket of towels.
He might seek attention by pawing the volunteer's leg. He doesn't like to be picked up or carried. He DOES like scratches.
Charlie would probably like to return to the "good old days" where he was the ONLY pet with a loving and doting owner.
Charlie is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and litter-box trained.
