Cooper and Charlie, approximately 7 years old, are bonded brothers who must be adopted together. Cooper is black and white; Charlie is orange and white. They are front declawed. Both cats are playful and enjoy gazing out the window watching birds, bugs, and anything that moves. They are friendly, lovable cats, and will be great companions to anyone who wants lovey cats who like to sit on laps.
Charlie is more independent than Cooper and is usually the greeter when company arrives to visit. His previous owner said that when Charlie wants attention he sits back on his hind legs and waves his paws and he also loves being carried like a baby.
Cooper is a very lovey cat who has some digestive issues that can be corrected with special food and/or an inexpensive medication every other day. He also has a few anxiety concerns that seem to be stemmed from separation anxiety and a feeling of overprotection of his previous owner which has resulted in some behaviors that are helped by a calming collar and could also be helped by an anxiety medication. It is also very possible that in a new home he may thrive and no longer have his anxious behaviors. Cooper loves to sit on laps and be petted and has a very loud purr.
Cooper and Charlie have never been around dogs and although they have lived with another cat before, we believe the best home for them will be one where they are the only pets so they can get all the attention they desire from their new family without having to share with anyone else.
