She is very sweet girl, who is looking for her fur-ever home. We believe she is around 3-4 years old and is a cattle dog mix. She came to us when her owner passed away and the other owner couldn’t care for her.
Due to her breed or mix of breeds we are looking for a very specific home for her where she will be set up best for success!
Cooper is pretty reactive towards people on leash and will nip at shins or ankles.
She enjoys lots of exercise, biking right now seems to be her favorite.
She’d probably do best as an only dog, as loves all the attention on her! She has had some interaction with other dogs on leash and she will correct them if their energy becomes to much for her.
Cooper also needs a kid free home.
We are requiring that her fur-ever home have heeler experience and be committed to getting her the training that she needs.
Cooper will also need someone who is willing to do some training with her.
**Cooper being a heeler mix does have high herding tendencies, and has a single “bite history” as she nipped someone in the calf.
An approved adoption application is required. The $200 adoption fee (
payable by cash or check only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Our adoption application may be found by going to:

Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
