Hey What’s up? I’m Lonnie, a good lookin’ 2 year old boy! I was brought to the shelter by the Sheriff’s Department because of a neglectful situation. I’m glad to be out of there, and I am told life is going to get better for me once the perfect person finds me. I am strong, calm, and walk well on a leash. I am heart worm positive, but the shelter is treating me without any negative effects. I can still be adopted and would love to recover at home with love and support. I really want to know what a loving home is like, I will be very loving and loyal to you! My adoption fee is $100.00 and this includes my neutering, shots, worming, and micro chipping. More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns and Cleburne County. We keep animals as long as we possibly can and work very hard at adoptions! We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
