Captain BENSON (he/him) here of the Law &Order SVU and I’m still using my detective powers to find my forever family in the greater Toronto area. My foster family and squad can’t believe that I’m not adopted yet because I’m such an amazing guy. I’m asking Detectives Stabler and Tutlola and all of you to help me find my perfect family. I’m only 2 so I’m still like a fun puppy but without all the puppy work. Despite the fact that I work for the SVU and had a rough start in life, I love everyone I meet. I am soooo friendly. I will get so excited to see you that I jump into your arms (so kids I live with should be over 10). I absolutely love to cuddle and want to be on your lap if I can. I like a clean police station so I don’t make messes in the house. I can run really fast and hop like a bunny to catch perps so I would need a very secure fenced-in yard. I love the world so much that I am a bit of an escape artist but if you are careful with double leashing and the front door, that’s not an issue. I do like to make my opinions about how to solve a case known loudly sometimes by barking so please keep that in mind if you have shared walls. However, I don't bark too much if someone is at home with me. On that note, I love being with my squad so I need a family who won't leave me alone more than a few hours at a time. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.
Our adoption fees are as follows:
$800 for puppies (approx. 1 year and under)
$750 for adults (2-6 years)
$600 for seniors (7 years and up)
All new pet parents will receive 6 weeks complimentary Pet Secure Accident and Illness Protection for any dog adopted from Just Paws. Once activated, the trial will cover veterinary bills up to $500.00 for accidents or illnesses, excluding pre-existing conditions. Please note that Just Paws is not responsible for insurance issues that may arise with your chosen veterinarian
