Here's what the humans have to say about me:
After being picked up as a stray, Missy was adopted October, 2021 to a loving couple. We thought this would be her final and forever home. But her family contacted us and, through no fault of her own, are having to return Missy to us.
Missy is a beautiful, lively, small Catahoula mix. She is about 5 years old now and only 35 lbs. Missy is spayed and had a dental cleaning in 2021. She is kennel-trained and house broken.
When she is happy she makes a woo-woo sound and bounces through the yard like a lamb. Missy gets along with most dogs, better with male dogs. But with the right leadership she does fine with non-dominant females. Like all working dogs she can be snippy but responds well to redirection. Overall she is a happy, sassy, very affectionate little girl. She enjoys running around her yard and keeping the squirrels away. I would not put her in a house with cats as she has a prey drive. Her adopters have worked with her on some lingering issues from her first owner.
She loves people so we believe the right family is out there for this girl. If you believe that family could be you, please contact nod2016dog@gmail.com to meet with Missy.
