Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, my name is Porter! My sister and I were dumped in north Tulsa a while back. We lived near the zoo until Route 66 Pet Rescue was able to convince us to come with them. My sister has already been adopted and I’m hoping my forever family will find me too!
I am shy at first and nervous about getting into cars, but I am truly a big, sweet boy who would like to give you hugs and kisses. I would love a family who is patient with me and will teach me manners! They tell me I’m a big dog (too big to jump up and say hi to people). My rescue thinks I may not be great around small kids simply because I love to jump up and give big dog hugs.
I love to play with my friends in the backyard and get belly rubs. I will need a privacy fence because I’m tall and could easily jump over short fences. If you think you’re my forever family, please start the adoption process by filing out an adoption application on the website. Route 66 Pet Rescue does home visits, vet references, and meet-and-greets with potential “fur siblings”.
