My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What the heck! Why am I still a foster dog??? I am handsome, always happy to see you, not hard to live with, and pretty smart, too!

I love the outdoors—whether it’s sitting on the porch, stretched out in the sun, or going for a walk, I’m in! But I’m also 9, so short walks are fine followed up with a nice nap sounds perfect to me! And if you’ll let me on your couch or bed, I’ll be your best friend for life.

I really love to meet new people anywhere! If you come to my house I will be your new best friend! I don’t need a lot of attention, but love to be with you when you are home and always wants to meet your grown up human friends. I’m also really happy to go for a ride with you. Once I make sure you are headed in the right direction, I curl up on the back seat.

I prefer adults and teenagers over babies and toddlers. I’ve never shown any aggressive behavior with my fosters but sometimes I can be a little grumpy when they want me off the bed or couch. A firm word and maybe a piece of cheese will help me change my mind!

I really don’t like to share my home with other dogs, so please ask your human friends to leave their dogs at home. I have met other calm dogs easily and did okay with everybody outside on a leash. I have learned how to live with a cat in my foster home. He likes napping as much as I do!

I’ve never chewed anything up or had an accident in my foster home, and I will bark or whine when it’s time for you to let me out. I know how to sit, stay, shake and roll over. I am a smart boy - throw in a piece of cheese and I’d love to learn a new trick or two with you!

Inquire about me today! I would love to meet you.
