Little Jillie Lou is thriving in her foster home and is ready to find a home to call her own We made eye contact with Jillie through a tiny little window at an animal control and knew we weren’t leaving without her. Her mom was a stray houndy lady and Jillie was the only one of her siblings yet to find a home. She is about 3 months old, all puppy, all ears, all legs, and all sass! She still has to grow into her lengthy legs, but we’re thinking she might be around 50 pounds or so. She has totally mastered “sit” and “paw” thanks to her foster brother, and has come leaps and bounds when it comes to potty and crate training in the short time that she’s been with her foster family.

She is a smart cookie and crazy food motivated, we have no doubt that it won’t take her long to learn the ins and outs of life in her new home. Her very favorite thing in life is to be outside playing fetch and tug, so we are recommending a home with a fenced in yard but are totally open to an active family without a fence that can still give this playful lady the energy output that she needs. She is great with other dogs and is coexisting with two cats but is still learning not to chase everything that runs away from her. She is still teething with those adorable puppy teeth of hers, so toys and bones will come in handy. One thing is true with Jillie Lou though, you are in for a heck of a fun time, lots of kisses, and even more snuggles. She has charmed everyone she’s met!
