My story

Meet Buford! This handsome, happy, 5-6 year old lemon hound is searching for a home to call his own. And if you ask us, he’s at the perfect age! He’s through his puppy years, so he’s out of his chewing stage, out of his “get into everything” stage, and everything else that comes with puppies! He is calm, cool and collected! Not to mention, you can’t help but fall in love with his sweet disposition, or the way he sleeps belly up! Buford loves to play with his foster brothers as well as a nice afternoon power nap under the beautiful Florida sun. As of 5/3, Buford has completed his last round of HW treatments and is ready for his forever home!!  If you are interested in learning more about Buford, or any other Swamp Haven dog, please contact us, adopt@swamphaven.org.
