Introducing Black Betty! "Black Betty had a child..." in fact, she had many in her previous life during which time she lived under a trailer and had litter after litter until we took her in. Black Betty is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old so she is still a young adult. She has absolutely gorgeous golden eyes and is completely pitch black! Black Betty reminds us of a little panther. She very quickly warms up and enjoys pets and love from her people! Black Betty is always ready for some wet food and catnip! She is hoping to go to a home where she can be pampered with lots of wet food! She knows that black cats have a hard time getting adopted because of silly superstitions as well as a variety of other reasons but she is still holding out hope for her future that someone really special will come along and scoop her up for good! Is that someone you? We think she will really make someone out there sing! Bam-ba-lam! She is used to living with other cats but can be a little snarky with them if they get in her space so she would be better off going to a home without any other cats or would also be fine as an only pet. Black Betty is has actually done quite well with the large, cat-friendly dog that she has been introduced to so she appears to do fine with dogs. Black Betty will have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped at her time of adoption!
