Buttercup is a sweet senior girl looking for her forever home. She has some “stranger danger” and isn’t comfortable in crowds or around new people/children/dogs. She’s done very well with a trainer and learned that with a slow and proper introduction, and coaching (of others), that people can be a good thing and she can ignore other dogs. She’s very loyal to her family and especially loves men.

She is a pretty girl with soft fur, and she likes brushing and petting. She’s good in the car, and is house- and crate-trained. Buttercup knows commands like “sit” and “wait” and “come”. She’s a good learner and wants to please her people.

Buttercup would love to be with a quieter couple or family that’s looking for a low-key companion to go on walks with and hang out at home with. She has so much love to give!
