Aquarius “Purple” is a beautiful black German Shepard mix born on July 6, 2019
She is very smart, loves to ride in a vehicle, crate trained, and potty trained. She is very easy to train and has been spending time at Mattox Dog Training Academy brushing up on social skills and manners.
Purple is a little cautious at first and once she warms up to you, she is really sweet.
She warms up quicker to women than men.
True to her shepherd breed, she will love her family and is a protector. She will play with all sizes of dogs but prefers low/medium energy dogs. When she gets tired, she goes right to her crate and takes a nap. She would prefer a home that is clean, safe, 6-foot fence, and a family that does not have small children and is not gone for long periods of time.
A family that will be consistent with training and setting boundaries.

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families.
